Government College, Bhattu Kalan has established the Research and
Development Cell under University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines issued for
establishing Research & Development (R&D) Cells in Higher Education Institutions (HEls) to
foster a robust research ecosystem, aligned with NEP-2020. These guidelines recommend
a Research Advisory Council (RAC) to oversee the RDC and suggest an organizational
structure with various committees for finance, infrastructure, policy development,
collaboration, product development, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The R&D Cell
should also implement a Research Information Management System (RIMS) for data
management and promote plagiarism checks and ethical research practices.
